What is the Challenger Division?
The Horsham Challenger Division welcomes players of all ages, who have physical and intellectual challenges, to enjoy the game of baseball along with their peers. Challenger Registrations are welcome at any time. The fundamental goal of the Challenger Division is to provide an environment where players can learn and enjoy the game of baseball in a manner structured to their abilities and needs. Our Challenger Division will soon be playing games at the Miracle League Field of Horsham. The Miracle League of Horsham will be located in Deep Meadow Park at 1020 Horsham Rd. It will be part of a multi-field Little League complex and be in proximity to fully accessible restrooms. There will also be a playground and concession facilities at the complex. Construction is to begin shortly.
Who can be a Buddy?
Buddies work with the players on the field. By volunteering as a Buddy, you can help baseball players who happen to have a disability. No special training is required, other than patience, a cheerful attitude and a willingness to help others – you qualify to be a Challenger buddy if you can give a high 5, a big smile, or any other form of encouragement.
How do I get involved?
Contact our Challenger Division at [email protected]. Buddies will have to go through a background check, but we'll walk you through that process.
