Horsham Little League is always seeking volunteers!

Horsham Little League (HLL) is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and we're always looking for people who would like to help out. Please contact us if you are interested in coaching, umpiring, maintaining the fields and equipment, snack stand, etc.


Volunteer Affidavit for 2023. 
This link is for all volunteers who have lived in the state of PA for more than 10 years and gets uploaded to your background manager profile. You only need to complete this form 1 time. 

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE THE TWO REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW:

1. COMPLETE REQUIRED PENNSYLVANIA STATE MANDATED CHECKS - Please review the options below based on whether or not you already have your required PA Clearances For all volunteers, the Pennsylvania State Legislature has a law that all persons having repetitive contact with children have the following clearances, criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police and Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services. Additionally, a fingerprint based federal criminal history (FBI) submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent is required if the volunteer has not lived within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the last 10 years.

2. Complete the Little League International Volunteer Form & JDP National Database Search

2023 HLL RETURNING VOLUNTEERS
1. If you were a 2022 or 2021 Horsham Little League Volunteer before & already have your PA Clearances, please review your status on Background Manager. If you do not remember your login or password, please do not create a new account. Contact [email protected] and/or [email protected] to resolve any login issues to prevent duplicate accounts.

2. Complete the Little League International Volunteer Form & JDP National Database search. The HLL Safety Officer will upload your information to the Little League JDP database. Once this is completed you will receive an email with a JDP / Little League link to complete. You will have 14 days to complete the form. Once completed, JDP will contact HLL as well as individuals with any notations to be approved by the HLL Safety Committee.

VOLUNTEER @ Hatboro-Horsham School District, other school or sports organization with Current Clearances:
1. If you have NOT been a Horsham Little League Volunteer before but you already have your clearances (from school, other sport, etc.), please create a Background Manager Account and upload the required documents. Visit https://www.backgroundmanager.com to login into your existing account or create a new account if you have not used the background manager website before. 1. Enter code HLL to ensure your clearances are visible to Horsham Little League for review.

2. Complete the Little League International Volunteer Form & JDP National Database search HLL Safety Officer will upload your information to the Little League JDP database. Once this is completed you will receive an email with a JDP / Little League link to complete. You will have 14 days to complete the form. Once completed, JDP will contact HLL as well as individuals with any notations to be approved by the HLL Safety Committee.

NEW VOLUNTEER (DON’T HAVE YOUR CLEARANCES)
1. If you are new to the Volunteer Background process, please complete the following PA Required Background Checks. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions about the clearance process.

c. If you have lived in the State of Pennsylvania for 10 years, please download and complete the attached affirmation form
d. If you have NOT lived in the State of Pennsylvania for at least 10 years, please complete the following finger-printing process https://www.identogo.com/services/live-scan-fingerprinting and use DHS service code 1KG6ZJ

Once the steps above are completed and you have received the clearance documents:
